The foundry of gray and nodular casts Adut d.o.o. has been in the business since 1994 and continues with the foundry tradition of the Štore area.


It is focused on manufacturing single and small-series casts from the family of cast iron materials.

  The production process supervision is performed through the supervision of:

  • the quality of the initial material
  • the structure of the basic insert
  • the nodulation performance
  • the splitting or inoculation
  • final control
 

Materials

Gray cast with lamellar graphite
Gray cast with lamellar graphite is distinguished by its good compressive strength, muffling ability, machinability, castability and low cost.


Gray cast with spheroidal graphite

Gray cast with spheroidal graphite combines the advantages of cast iron and gray cast with lamellar graphite. In gray cast with spheroidal graphite the graphite extracts itself in the shape of spheroids and therefore the tensile strength and tenacity are increased, because this graphite form has a smaller incising affect in the metal matrix.

By supervising all production phases the foundry follows the high demands of the cast quality.

On the customer’s demand we carry out mechanical and non-mechanical tests.

The organization is certified after the system ISO 9001:2010.
 

The family of iron cast materials includes materials with a wide range of mechanical properties, which can be acquired in cast state or with heat treating. The foundry is oriented towards a close cooperation with the customer, regarding the development and optimization of the casts.
